dc.description.abstract<p>There is an increase in Assisted Living Facilities (ALF&rsquo;s) throughout the United States that has been coupled with residents that have increasingly complex conditions leading to unanticipated problems related to poor medication management (Woods, Guifang, Hawsook, &amp; Phillips, 2010). &nbsp;The Texas Department of&nbsp;Aging and Disability Services (DADS) provides the best practice guidelines for licensed Type &ldquo;A&rdquo; ALF in Texas and for this clinical project.&nbsp;</p>en
