Innovation in Doctoral Nursing Education: One University's Response to the IOM Recommendation

The 2010 IOM report called for doubling the number of U.S. doctorally-prepared nurses by 2020. One university answered the call by examining existing barriers and creating an innovative doctoral education program. Participants will examine the role of transformational leadership in program development and discuss a successful guided dissertation model.
